Mali Classic shirt 1980’s

Classic shirt Mali, “The Eagles” one of Africa’s most historic teams.

Mali enjoyed some success throughout the late 2000’s, however they have never qualified or taken part in a World Cup event.

Despite football still evolving throughout Africa in the 80’s, Mali’s major highlight came from winning the Amilcar Cabral Cup (Football tournament for Western African nations) in 1989. Despite it being a lower-tier tournament, it did feature some of the great African National teams.

Other than this, “The Eagles” did not achieve any major participation in Africa’s Nations Cup or as mentioned previously, they never qualified for a WC.
