Zambia Vintage football shirt 1980’s

Zambia Vintage football shirt, a.k.a KK11 in honour of former President Kenneth Kaunda or the “Copper Bullets”.

Towards the late 80’s The Copper bullets enjoyed some success by winning the CECAFA Cup in 1984. One their most emblematic players, David Chabala (Goalkeeper) saved 3 penalties in that final, leading Zambia to their first ever Championship.

Tragically David Chabala would die in the plane crash on the 28^th April 1993, that took away the entire Zambian team.
