Sweden Retro shirt 1970’s, the most successful Nordic National team, a team full of tradition and history.

The beginning of the 70’s began with Sweden’s participation in the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, unluckily they were knocked out in the group stages.

Their next participation in the 1974 WC would yield a much better result, finishing 2^nd in their group stage and advancing to the next stage group round, were they would meet again with the polish side (They had previously lost to them 1-0). Despite a good game from the Swedish team, the Poles were able to beat them, in the second game, and final one, against West Germany, Sweden needed a win. They played ferociously throughout the first half, however the West German side would win on an overall 4-2 score.
