One of the top clubs in Brazilian football, throughout the 60-70’s, The Santos team or “Peixe” as they are widely known as, displayed a great level of football that enabled them to achieve the recognition of fans still many years after.

In 1962-63 season, the Peixe side, achieved global recognition as it won both the Copa Libertadores, South America’s “Champions league” and the Intercontinental Cup twice, against tough AC Milan and Benfica sides. After this, Santos was truly regarded as the World most dominating team. Throughout the decade, their appetite to showcase their power around the world only grew with time, having the team take multiple long-haul travels to play friendly games.
