Leeds United Retro shirt 1973-73, Champions of the League title.

Managed by legend Don Revie, at the beginning of the season he told his team he wanted to win a second title, and so Leeds United began the conquest of the title.Having let go easily of all competitions, Leeds concentrated on remaining unbeaten throughout the season, and they managed to reach Christmas, with 21 games unbeaten record. They would continue their strike taking up to 29 undefeated games.

Though towards the end of the season, Liverpool managed to come close to Leeds, United were able to secure their title at the last game, beating QPR 1-0, with a goal from Allan Clarke.

The line-up of this incredible Leeds United team throughout the season was: Harvey, Gray, Bremner, Cherry, Reany, Giles, McQueen, Hunter, Madeley, Lorimer, Jordan, Clarke, Jones.

We highlight Billy Bremner, N4,(Photo Above) one of the club’s top players, he held almost 600 caps for Leeds, as a player, and more as their coach in the early 80’s.
