England Vintage shirt 1990, an outstanding performance at the Italy World Cup.

In continuation of their 1982 & 1986 quarterfinals, England arrived to Italy with the know-how and quality to achieve more.

Amongst the team were players of the likes of; Gary Lineker, Bobby Robson, David Platt, Peter Shilton and many other great players. They drew against Ireland and Netherlands and beat Egypt to finish 1^st of their group. In the quarter-finals they faced Belgium, a complicated game that they would win with a single magnificent volley scored by David Platt and assisted by Paul Gascoigne. The semi-finals would once more  show their cruelty against the English side, as they lost on a penalty shoot-out against rivals West Germany.
