The team of Eintracht Frankfurt from the campaign 1994/95 belongs to the most famous in club history and will never be forgotten.

In Summer of 1994 a young Macedonian joined Frankfurt from SV Darmstadt. He was set to stay almost 20 years at this club and live through many ups and downs during this period. There is talk of the goalkeeper legend Oka Nikolov. When we started to play for Eintracht Frankfurt, his coach was Jupp Heynckes. His rival in goal was the world- and European Champion Andreas Köpke. His teammates were one of the most known Frankfurt players in the history. In Midfield a certain Jay-Jay Okacha and the future Bayern Munich Player Maurizio Gaudino were controlling the play. Also Torsten Legat, who is mainly known for his sayings today, and the Bundesliga coach Thomas Doll were part of the squad.

Best goalscorer was the topscorer of 1993 and 1994 Anthony Yeboah, even he got suspendet in December 1994 by Jupp Heynckes. In the Bundesliga the results were relativey poor, that is why Jupp Heynckes got dismissed just before the end of the season and replaced by the former player Charly Körpel. In contrast to that Frankfurt eliminated big names in the UEFA-Cup like SSC Naples and lost in the quarter finals against the eventual finalist Juventus Turin.
