1975, a historic season for Derby County, winners of the league title and qualified for the European Cup 1975-76.

Led by Dave Mackay’s aggressive attacking style and the goals of the club top scorer, brilliant Scottish midfielders Bruce Rioch. The team began the season with a worrying style, that led them to the mid table. However, throughout the season, the team managed to strengthen itself, with players leading like; Hector, Lee and Roger Davies, helping the club achieve the top position in the League race. They finished winners with only 2 points ahead of Liverpool FC.
