Chelsea were regarded as the technical and finesse side, whilst their rivals, Leeds United, were seen as tough and strong northerners. The clash between both was a beautiful spectacle of two completely different teams. Unique moment in the history of the FA Cup, the final played at Wembley Stadium between Chelsea and Leeds United was the first ever to require a replay since 1912, the game ended 2-2. 2 weeks later, the replay would be staged at Old Trafford, Chelsea would win on a 2-1 final score, proclaiming themselves as Champions.
