For a 2^nd consecutive year, Roma lifted the trophy Cup, after beating a tough Torino side on a 4-2 penalty shootout, coincidentally same result as the previous season.

This same season, Roma finished as runner-up of the Calcio, which Juventus won. Great players such as Bruno Conti, Falcao, Carlo Ancelotti, amongst others, were part of this team.
