The club will always remember with great pride the final played against Arsenal FC, one of England’s biggest teams. West Ham United played the 79-80 season in the second division of England Football. Despite this, the team surprisingly reached the FA Cup final, and managed to snap the trophy from the winners the last 2 years consecutively, Arsenal. The goal scored by Trevor Booking was enough to knock out the Gunners.
